About Showers

A shower is a place where a person can bathe by standing while water is sprayed onto them through a shower head. Showers are faster and more water efficient than bathing in a bathtub and the steady flow of clean water makes them particularly convenient for washing hair. Showers are typically constructed with three solid walls to enclose a small space and feature a shower curtain or sliding glass door to provide access through the remaining side. Water from a pipe is fed through one or more shower heads that have multiple small holes in them which disperse the water in a fine spray, the shower head is typically located at head height or above to facilitate the washing of the entire body.
