About Weapons

A weapon is a device that is used to inflict damage on another object or to hit a target for sport or recreation. Weapons are commonly used by the military in armed conflicts and by police, security forces, criminals and hunters. Many solid objects can be used as a weapon to hit, cut or throw at a target, specialized weapons include hunting knives, swords, clubs, guns and projectile based weapons such as rocket propelled missiles or arrows fired from a bow. Most weapons can be used against living or inanimate objects, there are also biological weapons that are specifically designed to attack living targets and software based cyberweapons that are used to attack computer systems.
